Inspector Ian Roberts has the responsibility for managing the Broomhill and Sharrow Sheffield Safer Neighbourhood Area (SNA) .The Safer Neighbourhood Area consists of four Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs) these being Broomhall, Broomhill, Greystones, Fulwood, Crookes and Ranmoor, Sharrow and Highfield and Nether Edge and Sharrowvale, Ecclesall, Dore and Totley. Each of these teams consist of Police officers and Police Community Support Officers (P.C.S.Os) and also include a Childrens and Young Persons Officer and a Sheffield City Council Safer Neighbourhood Officer.
The SNTs provide communities with a dedicated team of staff who are visible, accessible and known to the local community.
They work closely with partner agencies( statutory and voluntary) and the local community to tackle crime and disorder concerns and deal with issues identified within the neighbourhood which are our LOCAL PRIORITIES.
