what issues concerned you most in your area
21.09.2011 - Due to several reports from residents regarding the MUGA at the side of Galsworthy Close, it was agreed that this would become a PACT priority for the next month to try to resolve some of the issues.
21.09.2011 - An amount of glass had been smashed on the MUGA area causing a danger to users. This was reported to DMBC and was quickly cleaned up.
22.09.2011 - The MUGA was patrolled by DMBC area officers. No problems were witnessed.
23.09.2011 - The area was patrolled by DMBC area officers. No problems were witnessed.
26.09.2011 - Prevention patrols were done by DMBC area officers around the MUGA and Galsworthy estate. There were a small group of youths using the MUGA facility for its correct purpose.
27.09.2011 - PCSO Kay Shackleton attended Mallard Primary School which teh MUGA is part of. She delivered a presentation to years 5 and 6 highlighting the consequences of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.
30.09.2011 - Whilst PCSO's were patrolling the area a man was seen in possesion of an open can of alcohol. Balby (along with much of Doncaster) is a Designated Public Place (DPPO). This makes it an offence to have an open can of alcohol in any public place. This legislation is used to help combat alcohol fuelled asb and crime. The male was asked to hand over his can of alcohol so it could be disposed of. He refused to do so and was therefore issued with a £50 fixed penalty ticket.
03.10.2011 - The area was patrolled by DMBC staff. There were no issues to report at this time.

05.10.2011 - The area was patrolled throughout shift by South Yorkshire Police PCSO's and PC's. There were no incidents reported and nothing anti-social was witnessed.

07.10.2011 - Prevention patrols conducted in the area by PCSO cyclists. Nothing seen and no reports recieved.
10.10.2011 - A meeting was held with the tree team at the location involving local PCSO's and area officers. It has been reported that youths are climbing a tree in the garden of an address. It was decided that it would cause far to much damage to the tree to remove the lower brnaches and so the problem with be dealt with by patrols form the local SNT.
11.10.2011 - Patrols were conducted throughout the shift and all was quiet.
12.10.2011 - A meeting was held with the local MUGA wardens regarding patrols of the area.
13.10.2011 - Joint patrols of the area were conducted between SYP PCSO's and DMBC Area Officers.
17.10.2011 - Patrols were conducted around the estate. No issues were noted and no reports were recieved.
28.10.2011 - At this evenings PACT Meeting it was agreed that due to there being no further incidents this PACT priority would be discharged.
